NORPLAN was established in 1971 and combines the resources of two of Norway’s leading consulting companies: Multiconsult and Asplan Viak, each owning a 50 percent stake in the company.

NORPLAN offers a broad range of international consulting services within planning, economics, engineering, architecture and project management. Our more than 1350 highly qualified staff have a range of skills spanning from ecology and finance through social sciences to engineering and work independently or in teams as depending on the nature of the projects.

NORPLAN has been present in the Middle East through a string of projects in Abu Dhabi, Palestine and Oman since the 1980s. We have followed the development of the region and gotten familiar with its people, culture and characteristics.

NORPLAN Oman was registered in Oman as a subsidiary of the NORPLAN Group in January 2011 related to the start of the Muttrah Redevelopment Master Plan project.
